Assessmate builds exam technology that helps learners practise under realistic computer-based conditions — including preparation for high-stakes exams such as IELTS — and assessment infrastructure for training organisations.

We are hiring a Marketing / Sales Agent to grow awareness and conversions through direct outreach, light campaigns, and partner conversations.

About the role

You sit at the intersection of marketing and sales: you craft messages, run outreach, qualify interest, and move prospects toward diagnostics, practice packages, and organisational conversations. Success is measured by replies, activated partners, booked consults, and paying users — not impressions alone.

You will work remotely (Nigeria preferred) and collaborate closely with growth and leadership.

What you will do

• Run structured outreach to tutors, academies, learning communities, and education / study-abroad contacts
• Support simple campaigns across WhatsApp, email, social, and community channels
• Explain Assessmate’s free diagnostic and paid practice offerings clearly
• Qualify inbound interest and route serious organisational leads toward consultations
• Maintain clean notes on conversations, objections, and what converts
• Help refine scripts, landing copy, and partner talking points from field feedback
• Hit weekly activity and conversion targets agreed with leadership

• Steady pipeline of warm conversations every week
• Partners and tutors who understand and share Assessmate confidently
• Growing first-time and repeat paying practice users tied to your work
• Clear weekly reporting: outreaches, replies, conversions, blockers

Who you are

• Persuasive written and spoken communicator; strong English
• Comfortable with high-volume, polite outreach and follow-up
• Organised — you track status and do not lose threads
• Hungry for outcomes in a small, remote team
• Interest or experience in education, exam prep, study abroad, campus communities, or B2B sales is a plus
• Based in Nigeria preferred (remote)

Compensation

Competitive pay based on experience, with room for performance-linked rewards on confirmed conversions (details at offer). Outreach support (e.g. data/airtime) may be provided as agreed.
